Iron nano powder (Fe)

Nanoiron particles or Nanoscale Zero Valent Iron (NZVI) dispersed and stabilized in aqueous is produced by technology of electrical explosion of wire.


This high-active nanoparticle with the average size of 50 nm is appropriate for ground water remediation and waste water treatment. The detailed specifications of this product are summarized in the following table:

In fact, the extraordinary capability of reduction and high reactivity of the NZVI makes it a suitable choice for above-mentioned purposes.

Because of small size of particles, they can easily migrate underground in long distances after injection the slurries through wells. Thus, considering the capability of nanoiron migration and also arrangement of the wells a "reactive treatment zone" can be formed.

 

The NZVI slurries can emit all of chlorinated organic pollutant, heavy metal ions, organic dyes and inorganic anions such as dichromate, Arsenic and Nitrate. The list of contaminates which can be transformed by NZVI is gathered in the following table:
